This weblog is the culmination of of years of an ongoing search for a spirituality and faith in my own life. In an effort to confirm my own beliefs, I have researched many religions and faiths. I have examined doctrines, debated concepts, and read so many writings on the subject, to say that it is
overwhelming would be an understatment.
I'm happy to say I have found meaning
* in my own life (
*for lack of better terminology), but what I actually discovered in my search was a reprehension for organized religion as a whole. While many religions contain idealogy I find not only acceptable, but an insiteful perspective on the human condition, too many emcompass more unsightly qualities that are actually the antithesis of their very own doctrines.
However, like so many things in life, this diconomy helped me realize that I already had within myself what I was essentially trying to establish: a concept of the universe and my place in it. This also made me see organized religion in a whole new light. These insights are what I want to explore in this blog.
After all, the path of wisdom is never ending...
